Operational Details
Window washing entails the removing of dirt and pollutants from windows on low and high rise buildings. Workers may need to use a power scaffold which is motor driven and suspended from a fixed position at the top of a building. Using this process they can operate the “cage” or scaffold by a break and clutch system control attached to the apparatus.
Water, vinegar and other detergents are mixed and used to cut grime from the windows and a worker may use rags, a squeegee or sponges to clean and polish the windows. Ladders and step ladders are used at lower elevations and for interior window washing.
