Employers, Feb. 28 was the deadline for sending us your EPS. File now. If you need help, written and video instructions are available on the WCB’s secure online platform. Sign in and submit your EPS through your WCB online account.
The WCB will not apply late filing penalties until April 1. The WCB is providing a one‑month grace period because of recent issues preventing some employers from accessing and submitting their EPS online.
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Application: All claims occurring on or after January 1, 1980 for workers receiving compensation for at least 24 consecutive months.
Policy subject: Benefits - General
Purpose:
To set the minimum average weekly earnings for workers who receive benefits for at least 24 consecutive months.
Average weekly wage means the average weekly wage of the industrial composite for Saskatchewan as determined by the board for a year from information published by Statistics Canada (Section 2).
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum average weekly earnings for any worker who is:
a. Injured on or after January 1, 1980, and
b. Is in receipt of benefits for a period of at least 24 consecutive months, will not be less than $840.89.
