Operational Details
Similar to employer operations in M33-02, who manufacture chemical products as they manufacture paint, dye, bleach and soap, etc. using similar equipment and processes.

The manufacturing process involves using storage tanks, mixing vats, agitators, grinding machines, and/or low heat to complete the mixing process. Once the ingredients are mixed or blended, the products are packaged or containerized by either an automated or manual process.

Manufacturing may be supported by laboratory analysis and research.. The operation also requires extensive warehousing and marketing. Not all products are listed, however, detergents, solvents, turpentine, curing agents, lubricating compounds, and wood alcohol are some examples.

Product finishing includes the same blending and packaging as used in other chemical manufacturing. Employers use large storage facilities with large loading docks for transfer to trucks and railcars. Most of the products are sold in bulk.

Dyes, soaps, and mucilage are basically manufactured by a blending process, using additives and fillers to complete the process.
