Operational Details
Paint and wallpaper stores sell a variety of paints, wallpaper and accessories. Materials are ordered in from manufacturers. Most of the paint inventory is made up of base colours, and vials of toner or colours are mixed with the base coats to come up with just the right shade or colour for the customer. The paint is mixed by an automatic machine and passed over the counter to the customer. Wallpaper is sold in rolls, and may include the selling of wallpaper trims as well. Accessories such as glues, brushes, rollers, sandpaper, steel wool and other paint and decorative supplies are also stocked.

Employees receive shipments , stock shelves, mix paints, operate the till and occasionally helps the customer pack their purchases to their vehicle.
