​Tobacco stores sell cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, snuff, lighters, newspapers, magazines and some confectionary products. The stores are usually operated in strip malls, shopping malls, and high traffic areas.

Retail outlets that sell vaporizing devices (commonly referred to as a vape or vapes), e-liquid, and accessories to the public are also classified under this industry code.

Health food stores sell a variety of natural foods, dietary products, and health remedies over the counter.

Cannabis retail stores currently sell medicinal cannabis products. These stores may also sell a range of related accessories such as pipes and vaporizers etc... The legalization of the sale of non-medicinal cannabis came into effect October 2018. Cannabis can also be called Marijuana. The wholesaling and retailing of cannabis will be conducted by the private sector and regulated by the Saskatchewan Gaming and Liquor Authority (SGLA).
