Operational Details
Brick laying and masonry incudes cutting to size and laying bricks or other masonry materials (concrete blocks, precast stone fascia, marble or glass blocks) into place, applying mortar between pieces for bonding. Typically, construction application include are but not limited to, buildings, walls, exteriors, entranceways lobbies and fireplaces. Equipment used are mixers, trowels, scaffolding, cutting wheels, hand-tools, forklifts and trucks, firm may employ brick/masonry trades laborers, estimator, and office/administrative staff.

Refractory lining uses high heat resistance bricks, installation is conducted in much the same manner as laying brick. The material of bricks is often ceramic, to resist high heat temperature, for use on chimneys, lining industrial chimneys, relining furnaces, kilns, incinerators, ovens, and boilers. Refectory lining are also installed on patios, garden walls, and exterior walls for other decorative purposes. Equipment used are mixers, trowels, hand tools, lining cutters, aerial lifts/scaffolding/ cranes, commercial saws, or hydraulic brick cutters, forklifts and trucks, firm may employ bricklayers, steeplejacks (crafts man who build or repair steeples, chimney and other tall masonry structures), estimator, office/administrative staff.

Marble and stone setting involves installing stone (marble, granite lime stone, sand stone, natural stone, stone sliding, cladding, stone tile, etc.) on exterior or interior walls for appealing aesthetics. Installation conducted with mixers, trowels, wet stone tile cutter, clamps, vacuum handles, hand tools, trucks, etc. Firm may employ stone layers, laborers, designer, estimator, office/administrative staff.
